This is why it is important to choose the best products you can get.  It is not only a durability issue but also a safety concern.  So gaze upon the best snorkel gear for your next adventure.

We have chosen products from Snorkels and Fins.  They have a nice selection of gear that includes both quality and durability.  Prices are pretty good and we believe that you are in for a great treat in anticipation to this snorkel activity.

The Best Full Face Snorkel Mask

A full-face snorkel mask is a great option as they are pretty comfortable and allow for easy breathing.   They come in a variety of shapes and size to fit in everyone’s face.

The best ones offer safety and, if you are new to snorkeling, the learning curve is pretty much null.  They can easily be used and they offer great comfort.  With these masks, you can choose to breathe through your nose or your mouth.

Regular snorkel masks limit breathing to only through your mouth, which can be difficult to get used to if you are new at this, especially given that you have breathed from your nose your entire life.

The Best Snorkeling Fins

Snorkeling fins are only so important to snorkeling.  Getting the best ones ensures that you will have a lasting experience without the risk of breaking them while swimming.

Just like the snorkel mask, snorkeling fins should adapt to the size of their user.  They also come in a variety of shapes and sizes.  Size is important here as you should be able to walk comfortably with them.

If you feel like you are having too much difficulty walking or get tired too easily, consider smaller fins, for instance.  Just as there are so many snorkel masks, there are snorkeling fins.

Snorkel Vest

The snorkel vest is pretty important if you want to have a full snorkeling experience.  They are small and easy to wear.  You usually just place them on your neck and strap it to your back.

They offer the convenience of being able to deflate and inflate at desire.  This is an advantage to regular floats since these ones keep you afloat on the surface of the water, which is not what you need.

With the best snorkel vest, you get to adjust the amount of air in, making it super convenient to regulate your depth level.

So now you got the options of perfectly leveling up your snorkel game to your super adventure.  Only the best of the best.  And of course above all, don’t forget your sunscreen! Do your part and ensure you get reef safe sunscreen to avoid destroying our amazing oceans.

Scuba Accessories for an Outdoor Trip

While many of us enjoy taking trips to nearby or far-reaching areas to explore the abyss, often times vacations that involve scuba diving will involve other activities as well. If you plan on bringing your own scuba equipment, you won’t have much room for anything else, unless you’re willing to haul around more bags or rent equipment from dive shops. However, there are some versatile items that can add to your scuba repertoire that will come in handy in other situations as well. These accessories aren’t absolutely necessary, but they offer advantages at a relatively low cost and don’t take up much space.

Dive Watches

If you don’t already have a dive watch, we would suggest getting one when you have the means to do so, as they can really make a difference. Deep divers have previously had problems finding affordable watches that were resistant to their desired depths (some claims by watch companies were proven untrue the hard way!), but fortunately, as technology has advanced and high-quality durable items have become more commercially available, there are lots of options now.

If you want to be confident that your watch won’t leak or crack at various depths, will function properly, and will stand up to brutal punishment, a good place to start is looking for military-style items. For example, military dive watches have proven to be very durable and functional, and while they are more bulky than your standard Timex, they can actually be quite sleek, allowing you to wear them on a regular basis. They often incorporate navigational features as well, such as GPS or a digital compass, making them great to have when camping, hiking, mountain biking, or anything else in the great outdoors! Hand Warmers

Simple hand warmers from your local outdoors or hardware shop can make a huge difference in comfort both after diving and in any other outdoor situation that becomes a little chilly. Being more accustomed to the Atlantic, I find these almost essential, not so much for the actual diving, but to keep myself happy afterward! If you’re on a trip and plan on doing other outdoor activities as well, these are great not only for your hands, but to help heat the inside of your sleeping bag, your feet, or any other small area that becomes a little too cold for comfort.

Dive Lights

Dive lights are also handy, especially if you’re diving in darker conditions (obviously). The reason we bring these up is because even if you don’t use them for diving, they can still come in handy in many other outdoor situations, whether it be hiking or camping, hunting, or even just making your way back to the tent after using the bathroom. Given these lights are a little more expensive due to their high functionality and water resistance, they can be a little hard to justify, but if you need a flashlight in general, this is a good way to kill two birds with one stone, assuming you don’t lose track of it!

These are just a few ideas for small convenient items that can be great to have when scuba diving, but also have applications extending far beyond the underwater environment. The watch is the most important of the three, but make sure you have all your other equipment in place prior to enhancing your setup with these items.
